Aisling Bea

Aisling B a, born on 16 March 1984. She was born in Kildare Ireland. The comedian has appeared seen on QI together alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16th March 1984) is a stand-up comedian and actress from Ireland. Bea was first seen as bit roles in Irish or British TV shows in 2009, started her career as a stand-up comedian in the year 2011. In 2012 she was on sitcoms or sketch comedy. Following her award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011, she began appearing on numerous panels, and is now a staple. In 2016 and 2017 she served as a team leader on 8 Out of 10 Cats. Also, she is a contestant of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was the child of Brian O'Sullivan, and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead is her sister-in-law. In 2012 she was the second woman ever to be awarded the So You Think You Are Funny Award. Bea is her maiden name in honor of her deceased father. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan, born Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Bea's father Brian is an equine doctor who killed himself when she was only three years old. Bea didn't learn how her father died until after she was thirteen. Her stage name Bea was in tribute to her father. She was the author of an opinion piece for The Guardian, published in 2017, about her experience with suicide. Bea (and her sister Sinead) were raised in a home by Helen Moloney, a educator and jockey trainer who was also a professional jockey. They were obsessed with race meetings as well as horses. Bea was a child an instructor for the Irish National Stud. From an early age, Bea knew that she was not interested in a racing career. Instead she loved the artistic arts.
